That first drawing – yes indeed – probably my favorite of what I’ve seen of your work – brilliant…
Thanks. Your comment sort of zings me this morning. This drawing reminds me of the experiments I made when young; blending Beardsley’s influence with surrealist motifs, i.e. Miroisms, etc…this image returns to that with some neolithic traces…and not heavily worked.
Wherever it originates it is strong – pursue this concept more – it really works…

Thank you Karen. It’s interesting how people respond to a piece. You might
think you’re saying ‘so much’ in a particular work and it doesn’t resonate much at all. And then
a sliver of a flash hits you and it grabs people. Glad you like it.
The more I look the more I see a Minotaur entering a labyrinth!
