The beasts of the forest
Wishing us well

In poemimage May 2012 a Rilke poem using the image below. I happened upon it today & considered: Is this figure dancing or dowsing. The title came to me while manipulating layers in Photoshop. A wee ditty followed soon after.

Perfect.
Thank you Stephia. I almost added
The beasts of the forest
A wishing well
the idea appearing later –
and hearing an Irish voice saying a’wishing well.
and now this voice has stayed with me sounding rather Joycean.
Hhhm. We need both, I think. The wishing well, and the beasts wishing us well. Listen to your voice – your Joycean voice. A bit of Yeats as well, perhaps?
O’yes to everything you have suggested.
Regarding Yeats ~ been meaning to read this for some time now: http://www.amazon.com/Yeatss-Ghosts-Secret-Life-Yeats/dp/0060985046/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389623500&sr=8-1&keywords=yeat%27s+ghosts

Love the gentle movement in these. And since I had to look up the meaning of ley lines there are all sorts of associations now dancing through my mind.
Thank you Karen and I’m glad to hear about the dancing associations. Ley lines seem a natural fit with the work you do. It seems you are involved with them or some vibration of their echo.
dear readers or fellow bloggers, I seem to have lost some comments while attempting to place them ‘in moderation’ to give myself time to reply. my apologies.
A dance upon the earth, in time, tracing, bending the atmosphere.
Good thought Jack…bending the atmosphere…with dance, tracing time…now I picture the dowsing stick mediating sky and earth…
Magic dancing through my night lightly holding the wood of seeking…
thank you John…the trees know all….
