that time you were young

Remember
that time you were young
and you saw something
you almost forgot
and the faster you ran
the slower you arrived

Fascinating. I really like your images and text and the effect of the combination – strange, but somehow familiar.
Thank you Richard. ‘Strange but somehow familiar…’ Sounds good to me!
Oh, I really like these, Steve. What’s the technique you used in the images?
Thank you Chandra. As for the technique: I took a photograph of Danforth Ave. while walking at sunset with threatening clouds overhead (it felt like a tornado was forming) on my phone, emailed it to myself, and played with it in Photoshop. I also used an image of the starry sky as well as some ‘textures’ available in the ‘layers’ menu. I created 109 images and made this shortened selection.
Amazing! It looks like painting … very cool to have achieved that painterly effect with photography and Photoshop.
thank you Chandra. Now I’m wondering if I should paint the digital image on canvas. Something to ponder. Reversing the process!
A beautiful piece, Steven. Somehow it makes me think of existing in a deja vu moment.
Thank you Karen, now you have me wondering if every moment might be a deja vu moment.
