When it is gone… (Nietzsche, a quote)
by Steven McCabe
“When it is gone,
passion leaves behind a dark longing for itself,
and in disappearing
throws us one last
seductive glance.”
Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

Eyes closed and leaning. And the spirit of the memory of passion is like red fire – first together it is surrounding their heads and connecting them to the heavens, then it has become a dividing line. I appreciate your sensitivity, Steven, to… to both your own heart while remaining so, as well, to the author of the texts to which you collaborate.
Hi Jack, thank you for this interpretation, I like how you’ve taken a red line and approximated it to fire. This seems to add
a spiritual quality to their experience.
