mystery word
by Steven McCabe
The poem about Minoa
wasn’t about Minoa only.
Another word.
A mystery word.
Not mother of Minoa,
medicines of Minoa
or
magic of Minoa.
No.
Although
any of these
seem valid,
perfectly fine.
Yes.
I’ll stash them someplace.
For the event, in the event, of requiring
a possible, future
mystery word.
Hi Steven,
Musing on the word bank collection for inspiration, I put random words on index cards but haven’t used any of them yet.
Minoa, mystery, medicine, mother, magic, illustrated in your usual interesting abstract forms. I like the contrast of colour against other shades of pale.
Hi MN, Thank you for your comment and thoughts and alliterations. :- ) And your word ‘musing.’ All best from here, Steven
I am so in love with that first image. A clue, a reading, a source? It gives birth to what follows…
Thank you John. I remember it was a dull afternoon and just fell into place.
