Aside from the images, all those juxtapositions and angularities and yes circles, and the words, their strident mystery, there is a rhythm to this GIF where it becomes a jazz I can hear without hearing, if you know what I mean.
Reading your comment some weeks later Brenda I see your comments more clearly and how the spatial sense relates to jazz sounds or maybe jazz ideas. Again, your phrase ‘strident mystery’ strikes me in relationship to the words ‘circles’ and ‘angularities.’ Thanks again.
I enjoy this. It strikes me as displaying an irreverent attitude. I loled internally when I viewed it. Are you willing to share some of the background on this piece’s creation? Also, please pardon me for my absence, rl responsibilities are just so draining!! Ha.
Tiege I think I’ve been absent more recently and am responding slow-motion. Thank you for this. The theme of this piece is ‘universal’ and can be applied to a number of situations (one I had in mind but will not go into that). Visually it jumps and starts. I created the images some time ago and they didn’t fit the GIF image parameters so I just dragged them in Photoshop and used sections and corners or middles – whatever fit! Irreverent for sure. I guess with all that brightness (maybe your earlier phrase ‘colourful chaos’ can be used) irreverence cannot be felt as cynicism. It seems that way.
Very cool, Steve! Flashy!!
Yes, very cool! But Steve and full-on angularity and true circles? Doesn’t add up.
Thank you Pierre! Ha! I hadn’t thought about the shapes that way.
Thanks Elana!

‘Strident mystery’ is an interesting phrase Brenda. Thank you for your jazz impression also.
